LPX index family

LPX Group first and foremost publishes a listed private equity index family. The index family is used as an underlying for various financial products and has, since its inception in 2004, developed as the benchmark index family for the private equity asset class.  

The LPX index family consists of the

• Global indices: LPX Composite, LPX50 and LPX Major Market
• Regional indices: LPX Europe, LPX UK and LPX America
• Style indices: LPX Buyout, LPX Mezzanine, LPX Venture , LPX Indirect, and LPX Direct

The design, development and delivery of the LPX indices ensures that they are investable, tradable and transparent.

The index construction methodology is manifested and published in the "Guide to the LPX Equity Indices".
