A research team lead-managed by Prof. Dr. Heinz Zimmermann who holds the chair in finance at the University of Basel is analysing the global infrastructure industry. The in-depth research allows for the design of a index family which adequately reflects the industry-specific risk and return characteristics. A global universe of listed infrastructure companies is covered in order to ensure for the construction of infrastructure indices which combine current industry standards and innovative academic methodologies.
