data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Karl Schmedders is Professor of Finance at IMD, the international business school with campuses in Lausanne and Singapore. He also serves as a Visiting Professor of Executive Education at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, USA. Before joining IMD, Karl held the Chair of Quantitative Business Administration at the University of Zurich. Prior to that, he spent ten years on the faculty at Northwestern University. He earned his PhD in Operations Research from Stanford University. Prior to that, he served as COO of Vescore AG. Between October 2013 and June 2015, he was COO for the business areas Institutional Clients &amp; Asset Management at Notenstein Privatbank AG. Before that, he was engaged in different management positions at Bank Sarasin &amp; Co Ltd. (now Bank J. Safra Sarasin). In 2004, Alexander Lanz graduated with a law degree from the University of Basel. Before joining OLZ, he gained valuable experience at Commerzbank and Ernst &amp; Young. He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Zurich and a Master&#8217;s degree in Quantitative Finance from ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, both earned with distinction. His academic background also includes studies in mathematics and economics at the University of T\u00fcbingen and the University of Birmingham. Patrick specializes in financial econometrics, statistics, and risk management.
